Nevada Offroad Foundation
- Protecting Riders.
- Defending Access.
- Guarding Your Dollars

Our Mission
We work to protect the Nevada OHV community by:
Educating Riders
We break down laws, regulations, and policy changes so riders understand how decisions at the local, state, and federal level affect access to trails, public lands, and riding areas.
Making Public Policy Clear
Complex government processes shouldn’t be a mystery. We track legislation, agency actions, and policy proposals and translate them into plain language so every rider knows what’s happening and how to get involved.
Protecting Your Registration Dollars
OHV registration fees are meant to benefit riders—through trail development, maintenance, safety programs, and access. We monitor how those funds are spent to ensure they are used as intended.
Exposing Misuse of OHV Funds
We actively watch for misuse of OHV registration dollars by government entities or non-OHV groups seeking to divert those funds for unrelated projects. When money meant for riders is at risk, we speak up.
Why It Matters
Off-highway vehicle riders fund their own community through registration fees and volunteer effort. Those dollars should:
· Support trail systems and riding areas
· Improve safety and education
· Expand access, not restrict it
· Benefit riders—not outside interests
Without oversight, those funds can be redirected away from the people who paid them. We exist to make sure that doesn’t happen quietly.
What We Do
· Track OHV-related legislation and regulations
· Monitor state and local spending of OHV funds
· Inform riders through updates, alerts, and plain-language explanations
· Advocate for fair policies that protect access
· Call out misuse of rider-funded programs
Our Commitment to Riders
The Nevada Off-Road Foundation stands with riders—UTV, ATV, dirt bike, 4x4, and every form of off-highway recreation.
We are independent, rider-focused, and committed to transparency.
· Your voice matters.
· Your registration dollars matter.
· Your access to Nevada’s public lands matters.
We are here to protect all three.
Look for us on the trails!
